Which cell phone is best?
Cell phones are amazing. With some that have 8.1 megipixel cameras, amaing webrowsers, and great keyboards for emails. The only thing is that it is imposible to pick which one is the right one for you. Hopefully this page will help you with that daunting task. Below is my opinion of the best major phone for At&t, Verizon, and Sprint (I will at t-Mobile shortly):
At&t: Iphone 3gs

Iphone 3gs
iKnow that everybody is probably tired of hearing that the iPhone is a great media phone, but it is true. It has the easiest to use system. If you feel fine living in the closed, but amazing ecosystem of apple, then this is the phone for you. Now with twice the storage for the same price, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, and amazingly fast processor, now is the time to get a new iPhone. One other plus is the amazing web browsing experience, the best on a mobile phone. But, with the pluses, there are lots of minuses, first of all the iPhone is a horrible phone. Lots of dropped calls, bad sound quality, and even no bars at all in most locations, except major areas. Also, you aren’t able to replace the battery if it won’t charge, or dies, apply custom themes, (Unless you illegally “jail-break your phone”) an many more things that Nokia, Window’s Mobile, Blackberry, Android, and maybe even samsung’s “Bada” systems can do with ease.
Price: $199.99 (2 year contract/new)
$149.99 (2 year contract/Refurbished)
Verizon: LG Env Touch OR HTC Touch Pro 2

LG env touch

Touch Pro 2
I just couldn’t decide which one to choose from Verizon. So I am gonna choose both of these. The env touch is the predecessor to the LG Voyager. The name change is because of Plantronics, a bluetooth headset maker had the name, and blah, blah, blah. So it is now the higher end version of the LG Env. The ENV.T. is a great phone, its like a smart phone, with out the more expensive monthly bill and complex user interface. The unique design has a large 3″ touch screen on the outside, and a non touch 3″ screen on the inside. But, unlike a smartphone, there is no support for custom themes (Except for stock verizon ones) or third-party apps. Want a smartphone? Well in my opinion the HTC touch pro 2 is the best productivity phone to date. With a large touch screen, amazing keyboard, tilting screen, and good build quality, it is are to beat. Even though windows mobile or windows phone has just gotten a lot easier to use, it is still kinda chunky, slow, and confusing. Luckily, like other HTC devices, HTC included Touch Flo 3d, which is an attempt to make windows mobile easier, faster, better looking, and more simple, with out loosing the personalization features of windows mobile. And with out a doubt I can say they have succeeded. Like the env touch, the TP2 has a big, easy to use keyboard, but this one takes it to another level. Probably the biggest keyboard on a phone ever, and the great traveling action of each key, you will find that you can type emails, documents, text messages, and other keyboard involved things easy as pie.

Sprint: Palm Pre

Palm Pre
I really wanted to choose the sprint version of the TP2, but because I just talked about it, I give it to the Palm Pre. Finally, palm is back in the game with the pre, sure build quality could be better, an example is the “Oreo twist” were you hold the top and bottom slider parts and gently twist them, the keyboard and screen could be larger, and it could have more apps like the iPhone did on its launch. But, it is a good device for the person who is tired of the blackberries, the iphones, and the windows phone. Never before seen webOS is very cool, but kinda like a skinned apple iphone user interface. The pinching gesture, multi-touch, apps, and flick scrolling, are all apple ideas, even though most of those features are on every high end touchscreen phone lately. But I would not recommend this phone for a power user, the new webOS doesn’t have many users yet, and with the small keyboards on both webOS devices (the other is the new Palm Pixie) the (and I hate to say it) TP2 is a better bet. Especially because it is on all carriers, and unlocked.

T-Mobile: Blackberry Curve 8900

Blackberry curve 8520, not the best...The best for tmobile
Hmmm… I am kinda confused. While checking the tmoblile site, I was keeping my eye out for the new Blackberry Bold 9700. This is the new bold which is now on both tmobile and at&t. But, when I found it, the picture was of the Blackberyr Curve 8900 (BC89). Not knowing if it was just the icon photo, I went to the details, and there it was again… so until they update the facts, I say that the most popular and in my opinion the best tmbile phone for tmobile is the BC825. The 2gen version brings a better camera, new updated styling, updated OS (4.*.* something) and the amazingly high-res screen. With a form factor that is small, durable, and lightwieght, it has to be the best consumer-friendly blackberry out there. I was going to also say that the blackberry curve 8520 was the best, even thought the price is better for practically the same keyboard and forfactor, it is slowwer, lower-res scree, no camera flash, and a flimsy design.
